Farm Manager Wanted
Lilly Fields is a 67 acre retreat center property on the outskirts of Hawkinsville. We need a Farm Manager to oversee the agriculture side of our mission, namely: Growing produce, creating and executing projects on site, providing training to visitors, and overseeing volunteers. Our overall mission is to provide health and farming education, healthy food and cooking classes, and memorable community experiences.
-Plan what to do with our empty land (~15 acres) and help implement the plan
-Manage our current garden (1 acre) and orchard
-Optimize the use of 4 vacant 10 x 30 ft. greenhouses
-Oversee volunteers
-Teach classes about permaculture, regenerative agriculture, and homesteading to guests of the retreat center
-Come up with creative projects related to permaculture and regenerative agriculture that we can showcase
-You will be part of the Lilly Fields team which means you will need to be willing to contribute and sacrifice for the good of the whole mission
-It is your responsibility that you are transparent and forthright about what you do know as well as what you don't!
-Be a strong delegator and leader
-Be prepared for fun, delicious meals, and a memorable time with wonderful people
